First project in Nigeria by Julius Berger in 1965:

Julius Berger undertook the construction of the Eko Bridge in Lagos in 1965 from a capital grant agreement between West Germany and Nigeria,

The company has come so far from where it was in the past.

The project was Africa’s longest concrete bridge and the first of its kind, the pioneering design, high quality and timely completion set standards against which Julius Berger is still measured today.
