Google has announced that the feature is now rolling out for Android users.
To activate incognito mode all you have to do is launch Google Maps, tap your profile picture, and “turn on incognito mode.”
Incognito mode is an Internet browser setting that prevents browsing history from being stored. Incognito mode forgets this data when you close the browser window, or doesn’t store it at all. For the google maps, the incognito mode doesn’t save your location history.
Google started testing the incognito mode in September but has finally announced it. It may take a few days to get the update but when you do, you can easily activate it using the activation steps above.
