The Federal Government reveals that work on the Lagos -Kano Standard gauge rail line has commenced. A tweet made by the Minister of Transport, Rt. Honourable Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi revealed this.
The Minister’s tweet said: “On site, contractors move in for the commencement of the Kano-Kaduna section of the Lagos to Kano rail line.” The Minister had earlier revealed during the inspection of Itakpe- Ajakwuta -Warri rail line that the Lagos – Kano railway project, over 10,000 workers will be employed.
