Facebook Bars App Lets Rappers Create and Share Raps Without Investing Heavily In Equipments

Getting access to high-priced recording studios and production equipment can be difficult for aspiring rappers. On top of that, the global pandemic shut down live performances where the rappers often share their work.

That’s why DJ Iyer (aka D-Lucks), a “hip-hop songwriter and ghostwriter” and Facebook employee, along with a group of aspiring rappers built “BARS: a place for aspiring rappers to create and share their art.”

How Facebook BARS App Works

BARS app makes it easy to create and share raps, so rappers can focus on and experiment with the content, rather than investing heavily in equipment and production.

With BARS, you can select one of the professionally-created beats, write lyrics and record yourself dropping bars.

BARS auto-suggests rhymes as you’re writing to keep your flow going. You can also jump into Challenge mode and freestyle with auto-suggested word cues. You can choose from a variety of audio and visual filters to take your creations to the next level.

No formal rap experience required — you can create something great whether you’ve just thought of a dope couplet or have been freestyling for years.
