Xiaomi is preparing two new smartphones, the Xiaomi Mi 10 and the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro for the flagship Mi 10 line up. The new Mi 10 series is expected to arrive with the latest charging technology by Xiaomi.
Rumor has it that the Mi 10 Pro variant will get a full 100% battery charge in about 35 minutes. Along with wireless charging, the top variant of the Mi 10 series will support 50W charging. The wireless charging rate is yet to be confirmed, but it is also rumored that Xiaomi is still working on the technology and the 50W wireless charging solution might surface in some part of 2020.
A 66W charger (11V over 6A) was certified by Chinese authorities earlier this year, but according to reports it might not be ready in time for the Mi 10 Pro. For now, the Oppo Reno Ace supports the fastest charging speed in the smartphone world which is 65W, bringing a battery of 4,000 mAh capacity from 0 to 100% in 28 minutes.
