WordPress 4.8 aka “Evans” adds some great new features which include :
- link improvements,
- three new media widgets covering images, audio, and video,
- an updated text widget that supports visual editing, and
- an upgraded news section in your dashboard which brings in nearby and upcoming WordPress events.
Which of the new features is your favorite(s)?
Mine : the new image widget and updated text widget.

I love the improved widgets. They’ve saved me time, which I would otherwise have been using to edit the text

Recently Installed it but haven’t yet tested the full feature but did notice the Events part and Visual editing. They’re pretty cool.
