The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini - Quick Fix

Atimes, while trying to upload a wordpress theme, I get this error message

The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini

Well, when this happens, instead of disturbing myself on how to increase the limit, which might still not work, I will just sign in to the site cPanel and upload the zip file to the themes directory and unzip it there. Thereafter, I will sign in to my wordpress dashboard and activate the theme.

If you don’t know how to navigate to the wordpress themes directory in cPanel, here is how :

file manager > public_html > wp-content > themes

If you want to login to your site cPanel, go to

yoursite.com/cpanel
