The Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a rugged new tablet designed for work outdoors or in industrial areas. The Tab Active Pro has a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 screen, having it’s Home and Back buttons on the lower bezel of it’s landscape position. It has an S-pen lodged in it’s side.
The Galaxy Tab Active pro has a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 670 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage, to which you can add up to 512GB with a microSD card. It has a user-replaceable, fast-charging 7,600mAh battery that Samsung says will last for up to 15 hours.
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a 13MP back camera, an 8MP front camera, a fingerprint sensor, a headphone jack and charges over USB-C, and will work with POGO pin-based accessories like chargers and keyboards. There is also a button on the top of the Tab Active Pro you can use to open a frequently used application.
Added to it is a DeX feature which lets you plug the tablet into a monitor so you can use it like a desktop. With an IP68 certification the tablet and it’s S-pen have some level of water and dust resistance. The tablet is made in such a way that you don’t need to worry so much about it getting damage in a work environment. It’s rugged.
