Hello, Good evening. I recently purchased a .com.ng domain name from Whogohost.com. I want to know if i will be able to rank for global terms and not just Nigerian related terms with this domain extension. Thanks.
Google won’t block you from been listed in search results just because of your domain extension…

Yes, you can rank if you up your SEO game and its not a too competitive niche where authority websites already dominated. If it is too competitive, it could be a wasted effort.

Someone once asked similar questions about being rank for Global terms with a GEO TLD Domain name…
I think a NG Geo TLD domain name should instead focus on ranking for his country keywords (isn’t that what they’re for)

If you check the Google Search console; i learnt from someone that one cant really adjust the Target country from Search Traffic
