Have you noticed that whenever you edit a topic on discourse, discourse will bump the topic so it shows up first in the latest topics list?
This might not be cool especially if it’s not an evergreen old post.
Anyways, if you don’t want to bump the topic, you should use the “Reset Bump Date”
What exactly does this reset the topics to?
The time and date they had before the edit.
Can I Reset Bump Date for Multilple Topics at Once?
Yes, you can
This is useful when changing tags of multiple topics at once
So, how?
Select your topics then click the cog and Reset bump dates.
I hope this helps.
