The body of a woman who was allegedly locked up by her husband in a room for three days, has been discovered by the Kano State Police.
Passersby had smelt the rot of the woman’s body and out of concern, alerted the Police at Mariri Quarter in the state.
Spokesman of the Kano Police Command, Abdullahi Haruna, confirmed the information about the incident to TVC News. Haruna said that the husband had been placed under arrest to be further questioning and her remains had been moved to a mortuary.
