If you want to stop getting emails from WordPress whenever you publish new posts on your WordPress blog, then you will have to unsubscribe from the blog.
How?
Open the recent email you received, scroll to the bottom and click the unsubscribe link.
Thereafter, ensure you unfollow the site as seen below :
