The Federal Ministry Of Health has taken to social media to educate the public on the proper use of face shields and face masks.
The organization in its post said:
#Faceshields without #facemask are not effective in #COVID19 prevention. #Faceshield is not a fashion accessory & must be combined with a mask to provide significant protection. Face shield protects only the face but #facemask curbs the spread of respiratory droplets.
