If you are hosting your site on Namecheap shared hosting plan and you need to edit your php.ini file, maybe to increase upload_max_filesize of your WordPress site, you can get it done via your cPanel.
Once you are signed in to your cPanel, navigate to “Software” and click on “Select PHP Version.”
Click on “Switch to PHP Options.”
You can then click on each property and change its value. Then click on “Save.”
That’s all.
Note : In order to increase the max upload size, make sure to modify both post_max_size and upload_max_filesize values.
